Areas of Focus

Mary has over 12 years of experience working with children, adults, and families as a psychotherapist in agencies and private practice.

In your therapy sessions, Mary will provide the safety and tools for you to explore and understand your inner world. Together, you will examine how beliefs about yourself, others, and the world around you. You are shaped by experience over time and continue to impact you in the present day. Using mindfulness, CBT, EMDR, and somatic techniques, Mary will assist you in releasing beliefs that no longer serve you and expanding the ones that bring you greater satisfaction in your life.

Her developmental focus takes into account each person’s unique personality and neurological make-up. She has extensive training and experience in treating symptoms related to trauma.

Mary enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring nature, and coming up with bad jokes to make her husband laugh. She has developed a passion for mushrooming since moving to Oregon in 2020 and is determined to find a good patch of chanterelles this fall.
