Renee has worked in the mental health field for 20+ years. Her specializations as a clinician have focused on working with children, adolescents, and families, and on helping people of all ages heal from trauma.
She has a deep respect for her clients and their lived experience. She is anchored in the principles of diversity and inclusion.
Her theoretical orientation is grounded in systems theory, and she utilizes interventions that are empirically supported, individualized for the client, and honoring of their identity and social location. Her approach during the therapy process is empathic and collaborative. She loves to explore nature through hiking, backpacking, biking, and exploring the world in general. She also enjoys animals, cooking, and Ultimate Frisbee!
